Simple desktop weather widget
AccuWeather.com Stratus is a simple weather widget that shows you the weather in any location with a five day forecast to boot.
Based on Adobe Air, AccuWeather.com Stratus is a neat looking transparent widget that floats on your desktop wherever you drag it. Clicking the calendar button opens a simple five day forecast, which can be toggled between night and day, Fahrenheit and Celsius.
Settings allows you to choose a location, although AccuWeather.com Stratus only allows you to have one at a time. A saved list of locations would be nice. You can also choose between white and black text, depending on what's easier to read over your background.
AccuWeather.com Stratus is a simple but effective weather widget for your desktop.

this is the best software with excellent accuracy. I went through a number of software, but chose this one.

Good widget, but doesn't show current conditions.
I really like the semi-transparent graphic overlay of the Status widget. It is unobtrusive and pleasing to look at, as well as clearly laid out. However, I can find no way to update the conditions short of actually exiting out of and re-starting the application. The weather conditions it shows are the conditions as they were when the computer was first turned on (or the app started), and they never update. This needs to be fixed. The setup menu should include auto-update and manual update options, but without real-time updates, the app is useless. I am thinking about uninstalling it, unless this problem is fixed.
Pros:
Pleasing look, informative display.
Cons:
Never updates, no real-time information. More
